Bride and Groom Together

Kate and Keir

Tell me about your Beginning!

Kate works with Simon, Keir works with Bronach. Simon and Bronach are married to each other. They invited us to dinner in Swindon hoping we would hit it off. We did. Before Keir went to the hotel he was staying in (Kate was staying with Simon and Bronach), we planned to go Malmesbury the next day. When Keir knocked on Simon and Bronach’s door the next day, Kate opened it. From that point, Keir knew he was the luckiest person in the world. Kate, from her point of view, opened the door still in her pyjamas and cross that neither Simon nor Bronach were around to open the door, and she still hadn’t had coffee yet, so she considers herself really lucky that Keir thought she was still so lovely at that moment.

When and where did you get engaged?

Outside the Falafel shop on Queen Street, Cardiff. When Keir proposed, he was nearly pickpocketed in the process. We didn’t linger at the time, but we always stop now each time we walk past.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Having fun with friends and family from both sides of the Atlantic

Top Tips!

Don’t organise two weddings on two different continents in the same year. Do laugh about the whole thing. Eat what you want. Do what you want for your wedding not what other people want you to do.
