Photojournalistic wedding coverage
Photojournalistic wedding photography in the Brecons
Really glad you’re here. I’m a documentary wedding photographer based near Cardiff in South Wales. Whether you’re a couple of party animals or just love a good candid (or both) then you’re in the right place. Do you believe that your wedding day should be told through a series of thoughtful, candid, and emotive photos that tell the story of your day?
I’m here for the brides and grooms who want booze-filled dancefloor shots, hugs galore and heaps of personality-filled frames of friends and family. I truly believe in photographing people at their most natural selves. Instead of me being in charge, I’ll be your energetic guest – capturing the atmosphere and the people while you enjoy the party. No posing, just natural shots, no fuss, and no stress.
Pricing
Full day wedding coverage starts from £1500 and collections with dancefloor coverage is £1750. Extra's like albums, double coverage, engament sessions are all available.

Take a look around
Defo check out my portfolio to see if my natural style is right up your street. Check out my about me page to see what I look like and if you want you can watch the little photofilm I made when my son Bobby was born and see how I document my own life. Faq is the place to go for the most commonly asked questions about wedding photography. The my approach page is a great place to find out why approach matters and what that means for your photos. Oh and defo check out the blog.

Relax
I’m a great believer in providing an experience alongside beautiful images. I’m the most easygoing photographer there is and I promise not to take over your day.
"Totally amazed at how intimate these shots are and yet so many of guests didn't realise we had a photographer there. You can tell everyone is having a great time and there's no posing or camera smiles on show"
Disclaimer: I’m Wenglish but don’t hold that against me. I fell in love with a Welsh girl, became an honourary Welshman and of course support Wales in Rugby. Plus, I’m also a huge fan of Cardiff International White Water Center.
Whether you’re dreaming of full-on festival vibe day at Gilstone Farmhouse or a rustic celebration at Black Mountain Lodge and want to know more about my availability for weddings in the Brecon Beacons , feel free to get in touch.
Documentary Approach with unique dancefloor coverage.
I get hired for my natural take on wedding coverage and my dancefloor coverage. I’d like you to think of me as your (very talented) guest with a camera.
What sets me apart?
100% Natural
I value genuine emotions, that's the stuff you want too right? A groom said to me "You made having our photo taken feel normal." That's a pretty good summary.
People focused
I'm committed to authenticity, storytelling, and personal connections. It's the people that make a wedding and you'll get heaps of images of them being themselves looking camera unaware.
Moment Driven
To quote Ashley and Owen, " They are everything we wanted, some of the nicest and funniest moments. Think you have a sixth sense for when something's going to happen." I like to think of your whole gallery as a collection of the best moments from your wedding.
FAQ
I live in Port Talbot in between Swansea and Cardiff and cover weddings, across the South West and work regularly in Bristol, Somerset, Brecons and Gloucestershire.
A professional wedding photographer knows how to capture the best moments, has a keen eye for composition, and often has that sixth sense about when stuff is going to happen. These are all skills that come from shooting multiple weddings and they are good at problem-solving on the spot. All qualities that you’d want the person behind the camera on the day to have.
Anywhere from £500 to ten times that. I’m firmly in the average price bracket for a working professional wedding photographer.
