Nash Point Pre-wedding Session

Kristen and James had their engagement session at the Nash Point Lighthouse in Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales this year. It makes up a lush part of the Wales Coast Path and is popular with dog walkers (its dog friendly all year) and ramblers and wildlife spotters. if you get lucky, you’ll see some porpoises, happy little things that look like dolphins.

In addition to all the above, it’s a solid choice for a couples session, especially if you get there an hour before sunset. Cliffs, sky, epic views. It’s just ace..

Kenfig Pool Pre-wedding Session

Tamsin and Rich had their engagement session at the Kenfig Pool, a national nature reserve in Vale of Glamorgan, Bridgend, this year. It’s a site of special scientific interest and Glamorgans’ largest natural lake. It takes about 15 mins to walk from the car park through a little wooded area, across the sand dunes and down to the beach.

Fun fact, the dune system is part of the largest active dune system in Europe. Who knew?

For engagement photos, it’s a great backdrop, it’s private, varied and has a genuine sense of being out in the wild away from it all, despite only being fifteen minutes from Port Talbot and forty minutes from Cardiff.

And it's dog friendly all year round 🙂

Engagement Session in Bridgend

Flo and Alex had their engagement session at the Kenfig Pool, a national nature reserve in Vale of Glamorgan, Bridgend, this year. They brought their pupper along for the session, who seems to have a blast.

Kenfig Pool and the surrounding dunes are perfect for engagement photos, it’s huge, close to the beach, and it’s only fifteen minutes from Port Talbot and forty minutes from Cardiff.
